US, South Korea and Japan hold missile defence exercise - Pentagon

The US, South Korea and Japan participated in a missile warning and ballistic missile search and tracking exercise off Hawaii's coast last week, the Pentagon said yesterday.

The exercise took place between Aug 8 and 14, demonstrating the three countries' commitment to responding to challenges posed by North Korea, protecting shared security and bolster rules-based international order, the Pentagon said in a statement
