OIC calls for end to hostilities between Russia and Ukraine

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has called for an immediate end to military hostilities between Russia and Ukraine and offered to mediate in their conflict.

In a statement issued in Islamabad, Pakistan, late yesterday after a two-day meeting of the OIC foreign ministers, the 57-member body urged the warring parties to stop the situation from getting worse.
