Saifuddin defends use of Sosma against GISBH leaders
PARLIAMENT | Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail defended the police’s decision to invoke the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma) to detain several leaders from Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISBH).
The minister said the decision was justified as the investigation was carried out under Section 130B(1) of the Penal Code, which covers organised crime.
