PAC urges govt to assess if professors council still relevant

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has urged the Prime Minister’s Department (PMD) to evaluate whether the National Professors’ Council (NPC) remains a vital force in driving academic expertise to support the nation’s development.

This is after the committee identified several concerns, including the inability to determine NPC’s effectiveness and functions.
