Duta Enclave: Govt to amend Land Acquisition Act - PM
PARLIAMENT | Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said the government plans to amend the Land Acquisition Act 1960 (Act 486) to ensure national assets and public interest are protected following land acquisition issues concerning Duta Enclave.
He said the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) is preparing a bill to amend the Act before it is finalised by the cabinet and tabled in Parliament.
