Madani number plates fetch RM2.6m, with RM26k from '8481' auction

The auction of Madani number plates has fetched the government at least RM2.6 million, according to Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

The sale caught attention after a bidding war over the plate “Madani 8481" as the number resembled babi (pig) when in capital letters.
