Asri claims Jakim briefed about GISBH but took no action
Perlis mufti Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin has claimed that the Islamic Development Department (Jakim) was slow to act on issues of aqidah (faith) deviation involving Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holding (GISBH).
Asri (above) claimed that a group of researchers had earlier presented issues related to GISBH to Jakim, but they failed to take any action.
