MyCC fines 7 firms for alleged bid-rigging cartel in Defence Ministry tenders
The Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) has imposed penalties totalling RM446,092.95 on seven privately held firms for their alleged involvement in a bid-rigging cartel.
The commission has issued an Infringement Decision against these companies for violating Section 4 of the Competition Act 2010 (Act 712) by manipulating bids for four tenders awarded by the Defence Ministry worth RM20 million, between 2017 and 2020.
