Immigration nabs 83 migrants during operation in Klang mall
Some migrants have attempted to avoid detention by the Immigration Department during an operation at a shopping mall in Klang by claiming their applications under the Workforce Recalibration Programme 2.0 were still being processed.
Immigration deputy director-general (operations) Jafri Embok Taha said several migrants presented copies of the applications under the programme - which has already ended - as proof of documentation.
