60-day maternity leave does not violate regulations - Public Service DG

The Hulu Langat District Health Office’s decision to approve only 60 days of maternity leave for its medical officers does not violate maternity leave regulations, said Public Service director-general Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz.

He said the office has the discretion to consider granting maternity leave of between 60 days and 90 days for officers taking into account the importance of the service.
