Court bins Tommy Thomas’ attempt to strike out Shahrir’s suit

The High Court today dismissed former attorney-general Tommy Thomas's application to strike out a suit filed by Umno man Shahrir Ab Samad against him and three others over malicious prosecution.

Judicial commissioner Roz Mawar Rozain in rejecting the application ruled that the case is set to go on full trial for seven days from March 9 to 12 and April 27 to 29, 2026.
