'Political character assassination': Hamzah pans charge against son

Opposition leader Hamzah Zainudin has described the prosecution of his son for bribery in a Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court today as an alleged “political character assassination” that targeted him.

Hamzah claimed that the charge against his son was filed after failed efforts by the Pakatan Harapan-BN government to manipulate various government agencies and create a false narrative, including by pressing “political charges” against him and other Bersatu leaders.
