Academic: Govt should use Akmal to attract Malay support in KKB polls

An academic has urged the coalition government to utilise Umno Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh to attract Malay votes in the upcoming Kuala Kubu Baharu (KKB) by-election.

Universiti Sains Malaysia political science lecturer Ahmad Fauzi Abdul Hamid said Putrajaya no longer needs to only rely on non-Malay support.
