TikTok, Facebook urged to monitor rise in harmful content, Fahmi says

Social media platform providers Facebook and TikTok have been urged to increase monitoring to identify coordinated inauthentic behaviour on their sites.

This follows an increase in content reports to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), said Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.
