1MDB: Police optimistic assets worth RM93.2m can be returned

Malaysia’s request for the repatriation of the misappropriated 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) assets worth RM93.2 million linked to former 1MDB lawyer Jasmine Loo Ai received positive responses from authorities in Singapore and the US.

Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department director Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf said the police were optimistic that the assets could be returned to the country.

He said the request to bring back the 1MDB assets also came from Loo herself...
