Fact-check: Video of Takiyuddin denouncing Sanusi is misconstrued

STATE POLLS | A video of a speech by PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan seemingly denouncing Kedah caretaker menteri besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor is going viral.

In the speech, Takiyuddin apparently said that PAS had never approved for Sanusi to contest any seat in Kedah.

While the words uttered are real, checks by Malaysiakini found the video had been edited in a way that Takiyuddin's (above) remarks are taken out of context...
