TM to get new chairperson, CEO on Aug 1

Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) has announced the appointment of Zainal Abidin Putih as its new chairperson, succeeding Azlan Hashim, effective Aug 1.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia today, the telecommunication group also announced the appointment of Amar Huzaimi Md Deris as the new managing director (MD) and group chief executive officer (GCEO), effective Aug 1, succeeding Imri Mokhtar.
