Muslims begin Ramadan fast tomorrow
Muslims in Malaysia will begin their Ramadan fast tomorrow, announced the Office of the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal.
“To fulfil the royal decree of His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, with the consent of the Rulers, the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal declares that the start date of fasting for all states in Malaysia has been set for Thursday, March 23, 2023,” it said in a statement today.
The date of the first day of Ramadan was set following sightings of the new moon across 29 locations tonight.
