Ringgit slips vs US dollar ahead of NFP report

The ringgit opened lower versus the US dollar this morning as the greenback strengthened ahead of the release of the United States (US) nonfarm payrolls (NFP) data later today, analysts said.

At 9am, the local note eased to 4.5200/5245 versus the greenback compared with Thursday’s closing rate of 4.5170/5200.
