Selangor denies issuing Kuala Langat forest reserve degazette notice

The Selangor government has denied issuing a notice that went viral on social media recently purportedly announcing the degazetting of the Kuala Langat Utara Forest Reserve for the purpose of multi-development.

Menteri Besar Seri Amirudin said his office had previously submitted a development plan for the forest reserve, but it was cancelled so that the forest could be gazetted.
