Covid-19 (Dec 4): 1,502 new cases, 3 deaths

COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 1,502 new daily Covid-19 cases yesterday.

Active cases currently stood at 22,505, down 17.1 percent compared to 14 days ago.

New cases according to states are as follows:

Kedah (100)

Sarawak (73)
Pahang (46)
Kelantan (45)
Negeri Sembilan (39)
Johor (37)

Another 3 deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which 2 were declared as "brought in dead".

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,713 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.

There are 1,512 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 104 are in intensive care.

The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (116) followed by Sabah (71) and Johor (41).
