Selangor assembly unanimously passes anti-party hopping law
The Selangor state assembly has unanimously approved an amendment to the state constitution to enable the Anti-Party Hopping Enactment to be implemented in the state, to prevent elected representatives from switching political parties midway.
According to a report by The Star, Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari tabled the motion for the proposed amendment on Wednesday (Nov 23).
