Covid-19 (Nov 14): 1,749 new cases, 6 deaths

COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 1,749 new daily Covid-19 cases yesterday.

Active cases currently stood at 28,784, down 9.3 percent compared to 14 days ago.

New cases according to states are as follows:

Kuala Lumpur (224)
Sabah (133)
Kedah (121)
Putrajaya (115)
Malacca (86)
Negeri Sembilan (78)
Perak (70)
Penang (70)
Johor (68)
Pahang (67)
Sarawak (56)
Terengganu (56)
Kelantan (53)
Labuan (9)
Perlis (5)

Another 6 deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday in Johor (2), Selangor (2), Penang (1) and Kuala Lumpur (1).

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,554 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.

There are 1,866 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 89 are in intensive care.

The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (137) followed by Sabah (115) and Perak (42).
