Covid-19 (Nov 3): 4,711 new cases - highest in 3 months
COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 4,711 new daily Covid-19 cases yesterday.
This is the highest number of new cases reported since Aug 13.
Active cases currently stood at 34,609, up 30.5 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Kuala Lumpur (1,168)
Perak (391)
Negeri Sembilan (299)
Penang (232)
Sabah (215)
Malacca (149)
Kedah (135)
Kelantan (128)
Putrajaya (111)
Pahang (79)
Sarawak (75)
Johor (60)
Terengganu (41)
Labuan (14)
Perlis (5)
There were no deaths attributed to Covid-19 reported yesterday.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,480 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.
There are 1,586 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised, of which 67 are in intensive care.
Hospitalisation of Covid-19 patients have been on a sharp rise over the past two weeks.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (160) followed by Sabah (83) and Johor (72).
