37 flood victims in Langkawi relocated to evacuation centres

A total of 37 flood victims from 10 families from Kampung Atas in Mukim Padang Mat Sirat, Langkawi was placed in a temporary evacuation centre at Dewan Syifa tonight following heavy rain since 4am.

Langkawi District Civil Defence Force Officer Ahmad Shahfikri Darus said the centre was opened at about 8pm.
