Today was former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak’s first public appearance since his incarceration on Tuesday, where he was given a 12-year jail sentence. 

While court proceedings were taking place in the Kuala Lumpur High Court for his 1MDB corruption trial involving RM2.28 billion before judge Collin Lawrence Sequerah, several events occurred outside the complex.
