Delay in handling scam cases is cruelty to victims - PKR comms chief
Expressing his worry about the rampant rise in scam cases, PKR communications chief Lee Chean Chung described the delay of banks and authorities in acting on this issue as a form of cruelty.
He also gave the example of renowned nephrologist Dr Rafidah Abdullah, who recently shared that she had also been a victim of a scam, where RM13,000 of her savings had disappeared from her bank account without needing any TAC code.
