Sulus seize Petronas assets
The heirs of the purported Sulu sultanate have reportedly seized two Luxembourg-incorporated subsidiaries of Petronas.
The companies - worth US$2 billion - were reportedly seized by the lawyers of the Sulu sultanate.
The heirs of the last Sulu sultan, Sultan Jamalul Kiram II, are using international legal processes in a bid to claim US$14.92 billion in overdue lease payments for Sabah.
HIGHLIGHTS
PAS-Bersatu communication breakdown
PAS and Bersatu appear to have had a total communication breakdown on Bersatu's bid to claim the post of deputy prime minister.
PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan, who drafted the DPM deal when he was the law minister, appears to have not informed this to his party president Abdul Hadi Awang.
This led to Hadi denying there was a deal when asked by the media, which then prompted Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin to give the former some very public advice.
Meanwhile, Hadi also took the stance that a new DPM was not necessary - which Takiyuddin appeared to agree.
Whether these public disagreements are just hiccups or signs that the honeymoon is over, remains to be seen.

Tajuddin poser remains
A ceremony presenting the appointment letters to Malaysia's new ambassadors took place yesterday, but there still is no confirmation on what's going on with Tajuddin Abdul Rahman.
It remains unclear whether his appointment as ambassador to Indonesia has been cancelled, or merely delayed.
Tajuddin, Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Wisma Putra have all kept mum on the matter thus far.
