Covid-19 (May 20): 2,063 new cases, five deaths
The Health Ministry reported 2,063 new Covid-19 cases yesterday, bringing the cumulative infections to 4,487,482.
Health authorities also recorded five new fatalities, putting the death toll at 35,638.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Putrajaya (65)

Active cases currently stood at 29,229, up 25.6 percent compared to 14 days ago.
Of the five reported deaths, two were in Johor while Perak, Penang and Selangor respectively saw one.
Over the past week, an average of 4.4 people were reported to have died of Covid-19, while the average for the past 30 days was 5.8, indicating that Covid-19 deaths are on the downtrend.
There have been 91 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 564 deaths last month and 2,235 deaths in March.
There are 1,124 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 36 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (145) followed by Johor (127) and Sabah (74).
