New assets for cops to face floods - home minister

The Home Ministry will study the need to obtain new assets for the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) to deal with floods or other disasters in the future.

Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin said the proposal was timely as existing assets including helicopters and boats were found to be obsolete as well as being technologically outmoded.
