Over 14,000 flood victims evacuated, Pahang and Selangor worst hit

More than 14,000 flood victims are at temporary evacuation centres (PPS) with Pahang registering the highest number of victims at 5,189 this morning and Selangor having 4,596 people in shelters.

According to the Social Welfare Department, seven districts in Pahang, namely Raub, Lipis, Bentong, Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan and Pekan were hit by floods with 116 PPS opened as of 9 am today.
