Covid-19 (Nov 29): 4,087 cases, lowest in almost 200 days
COVID-19 | The Health Ministry today reported 4,087 new Covid-19 cases today, bringing the cumulative infections to 2,627,903.
The fresh infections today is the lowest in 197 days.
They comprised 3,863 Malaysians (94.5 percent) and 224 non-citizens (5.5 percent).
The new cases were surpassed by a total of 4,984 Covid-19 patients who recovered today. This is expected to help reduce the number of active cases.
- Patients in ICU: 507
- Intubated: 272
As of today, the number of Covid-19 patients (including suspected ones) in the intensive care unit (ICU) is 7.7 percent lower compared to a week ago.
Those who require intubation have also declined by 0.7 percent from a week ago.
Nationally, the number of hospital admissions in the last seven days have declined by 5.4 percent compared to the preceding week.
The Health Ministry will only publish today's breakdown of new cases by states after midnight on its CovidNow portal.

To date, 227 Covid-19 clusters are still active, including seven new clusters reported today.
The ongoing clusters have fallen by 2.6 percent from the 233 active clusters a week ago.
