DOSM: Q3 deadliest quarter, Covid-19 main contributor

The third quarter of this year was the deadliest in the history of the Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia, with the virus being the "main contributor" to a sharp spike in deaths in the country.

In that quarter, 21,165 people died of Covid-19, making up about a third of all deaths in the months of July, August and September this year.
