Foreign minister appoints special advisor on Afghanistan
Commissioner to the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ahmad Azam Ab Rahman has been appointed as foreign minister’s special advisor on Afghanistan.
Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah (above) said with his extensive network with non-profit organisations (NGO) and Muslim leaders worldwide, Azam will be able to help in facilitating Malaysian NGOs’ humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.
