M'sian detained in Somalia, allegedly planned to join Al-Shabaab terror group

A Malaysian man who allegedly planned to join the Al-Shabaab terrorist group has been detained in Somalia.

Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah said Wisma Putra is keeping a close eye on the matter and will ensure the man’s welfare.
