Seven projects worth RM259.5m to address floods in Penang
The government is allocating RM259.5 million for seven flood mitigation projects in Penang to be carried out under the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP), said Environment and Water Deputy Minister Mansor Othman.
He said six are extensions of projects currently being implemented, including flood mitigation projects in Lembangan Sungai Pinang (RM150 million), Sungai Kechil (RM16.8 million), and Sungai Dua (RM45 million).
