Perks for the fully vaccinated: A guide to the SOPs

Fully vaccinated individuals who live in regions under Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) will be able to dine in from Aug 20.

Rules on recreational and sporting activities have also been relaxed. Fully inoculated individuals in these regions can now go fishing, hiking, camping, cycling, and play golf, badminton (singles) and tennis (singles).

Caretaker prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin said these new relaxations were granted because 50 percent of the adult population nationwide had been fully vaccinated, along with other positive indicators.

The current additional benefits that apply to the fully vaccinated in states under Phase 2 and beyond will also apply to those in Phase 1, with the exception of inter-district travels and intra-state tourism.

The latest relaxed guidelines will take effect from Aug 20.

The National Security Council (NSC) previously released its first round of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fully vaccinated individuals. These had taken effect on Aug 10.

Here are the detailed SOPs for all states and territories (regardless of which NRP phase they are in):
