Localised emergency declared in S'wak to stop state polls during pandemic

A localised emergency has been declared in Sarawak to enable the state to postpone its state election amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The proclamation of emergency for Sarawak was published in the national gazette yesterday and will take effect from Aug 2.
