Prosecution appeals against Tengku Adnan's graft acquittal
The prosecution today filed an appeal against the decision of the Court of Appeal in acquitting former federal territories minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor on charges of receiving RM2 million in bribes from a businessman in 2016.
According to sources in the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC), the notice of appeal was filed at 12.30pm today. The prosecution is appealing against the decision to the Federal Court.
