Ah Long beat, strip woman over loan for dad's funeral: Uncle Kentang

Community activist Kuan Chee Heng has spoken out after he received a complaint from a woman in her 40s who was beaten and stripped after not being able to settle her debts with an illegal loan shark or 'Ah Long'.

According to Kuan, who is also Community Policing Malaysia (CPM) president, the victim from Kuala Lumpur had previously worked in a furniture shop and took out a loan of RM16,000 to cover the cost of her father's funeral on May 13.
