Health Ministry detects 22 cases involving beta, delta Covid variants

The National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) of the Ministry of Health (MOH) has detected 22 more Covid-19 cases involving two variants of concern (VOCs) between June 11 and June 19, said Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

He said that of the total, 14 involved the Beta variant (B.1.351) and eight the Delta variant (B.1.617.2).
