Hearing of Najib's appeal over tax owed to IRB scheduled Aug 11
The Court of Appeal has set a new date to hear former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak’s appeal against the high court’s order for him to pay RM1.69 billion he owed the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).
Najib’s counsel Wee Yeong Kang, when contacted by reporters, said the matter was earlier fixed for hearing today, but it had been postponed due to the ongoing total lockdown.
