Singapore rebuts news report on 'Singapore Variant' of Covid-19
UPDATED 3.22PM | There is no “Singapore variant”, says the republic's Ministry of Health (MOH) in response to several news reports in India claiming a new variant in Singapore.
"The strain that is prevalent in many of the Covid-19 cases in recent weeks is the B.1.617.2 variant, which originated in India.
