SSR calls for Aidilfitri social media protest against PN, MCO

Citing the latest announcement of a nationwide movement control order (MCO) as a failure of the Perikatan Nasional government of Muhyiddin Yassin, a group has called for a social media protest on this Thursday on Aidilfitri.

Organised by Sekretariat Solidariti Rakyat (SSR), an ad hoc coalition of youth groups that includes Undi18 and the “Buka Puasa Buka Parlimen” grouping, the protest is intended to call out the failures of the PN government in coping with the Covid-19 pandemic.
