CMS wants Taib's son to stay on, says no basis to conflict of interest claim
Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad (CMS) has requested that Mahmud Abu Bekir Taib, son of Sarawak governor Abdul Taib Mahmud, stay on as its deputy chairperson.
Mahmud had on April 22 gone on leave following whistleblower complaints about a conflict of interest between him and the group’s ex-chief information officer Karl Vink @ Khalid Abdullah.
