Monsoon transition phase will last until mid-May, says minister

The current monsoon transition phase is expected to continue until the middle of May, bringing along thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds, especially in the afternoon and early evening, said Environment and Water Minister Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
