MOH, Vet Dept to inspect chicken farm linked to salmonella eggs in S'pore
The Health Ministry through its Food Safety and Quality Department will be working together with the Veterinary Department to conduct further inspections at a local poultry farm linked to salmonella contaminated eggs in Singapore.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a statement said the ministry is also monitoring all eggs sourced from Lay Hong Berhad Layer Farm in Jeram, Selangor, for the salmonella enteritidis bacteria.
