Suke bridge collapse: Trailer driver tests positive for drugs
The driver who crashed his trailer into the Suke highway construction site last night resulting in two deaths has tested positive for drugs.
In a statement today, Kuala Lumpur police traffic enforcement and investigation chief Zulkefly Yahya said the driver was a 40-year-old Malaysian man.
“Preliminary urine test results at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters found him positive for methamphetamines,” he said.
The man, who did not suffer any injuries, is now in police custody.
