- Meiban Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Ulu Tiram, Johor
The Health Ministry issued an order to Meiban Technologies to shut down its premises from Feb 2 to 8.
This is to facilitate sanitisation and disinfection works at this location after Covid-19 cases were detected here.
CARE HOMES
- Canaan Retirement Home, Kampung Ampang Campuran, Selangor
The Health Ministry today announced a cluster involving residents and staff at a care home located at Lorong Ikan Jelawat in Kampung Ampang Campuran.
It is believed to be Canaan Retirement Home, which matches the description.
The ministry said the index case was detected on Jan 30 through symptomatic screening.
To date, 14 out of 25 individuals screened tested positive for Covid-19.

The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee releases a daily list of locations where Covid-19 patients visited days before testing positive for the virus. Below is the latest list:
RESIDENCES
- Taman Segar, Tanjung Malim, Perak
A resident here is the index case of the Taman Segar cluster which has 16 cases to date, the Health Ministry said.
The cluster is categorised as a workplace cluster, with the index case detected on Feb 2 through symptomatic screening.
- Lorong Mawar, Taman Juta, Teluk Intan, Perak
A resident here is the index case of the Lorong Mawar cluster, which has 14 cases to date, the Health Ministry said.
The index case was detected on Jan 21 through symptomatic screening.
The cluster involves a religious gathering in Teluk Intan.
A total of 65 people have been screened in this cluster so far, the ministry said.
- Sentral Park Residences, Bintulu, Sarawak
According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee, a security guard here tested positive for Covid-19 and was last at work on Feb 3.
- Various residential areas in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor
The following residential areas in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor have recorded Covid-19 cases in the past 14 days.
They were listed in the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC)'s Covid-19 Surveillance Centre.

According to the Kedah Health Department, Covid-19 cases were detected at these locations on Feb 5:
MARKETS
- Pasar Tamu and Pasar Malam Bintulu, Sarawak
The markets closed for seven days starting yesterday after a Covid-19 case was detected at the night market on Feb 5.
The Sarawak government said it is closing the night market as well as some traders from Pasar Tamu also trade at the night market, Utusan Borneo reported.
- Song Market, Song, Sarawak
According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee, a customer who visited this market at 8am to 10am on Jan 30, tested positive for Covid-19.
PLACES OF WORSHIP
- Khalsa Land, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor
A Covid-19 case was detected at this gurdwara, said Kuala Kubu Bharu representative Lee Kee Hiong.
The Kuala Kubu Bharu DAP action team has since sanitised and disinfected the premises, she added.
GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS
- Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry, Bintulu Office, Sarawak
According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee, a staff member tested positive for Covid-19 and was last at work on Jan 29.
