Below are verified locations that are reported to be affected today.

- Pusat Dagangan Phileo Damansara 2
, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

The management said an occupant of Block B tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 22.

It said regular sanitisation works will continue and urged owners and tenants to take precautions. It also asked that they immediately inform the management of any Covid-19 cases.

- Wisma Bernama, Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur

A member of Bernama TV's management team has been tested positive for Covid-19.

Several other staff members have since been identified as close contacts, including a number of journalists who had met the individual at the office building yesterday.


BUSINESSES

- TS Maju Trading, Seri Kembangan, Selangor

This wholesaler company was closed temporarily from Jan 22 until Jan 24 after a Covid-19 case was detected at the premises.

When contacted by Malaysiakini today, a company representative said the case involved a customer.

They reopened for business yesterday (Jan 25).

- Tasek Central shopping centre, Skudai, Johor

The shopping mall posted on Facebook today saying that an employee of the New Market shop tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 23.

The staff member last came to work on Jan 15, before taking a swab test on Jan 20 after not feeling well.

Following the case, New Market has suspended its operation since yesterday for sanitisation. It has also sent other staff members to undergo Covid-19 tests, and results had returned negative for all of them.

- Isetan KLCC Foodmarket, Kuala Lumpur

Two workers at the Isetan KLCC Foodmarket at the Concourse level tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday.

Isetan KLCC Foodmarket will close for 48 hours for sanitation.

Business will resume at 10am, Jan 28.

- RHB Samarahan, Sarawak

A customer who visited here on Jan 14 from 10am to 12 noon tested positive for Covid-19, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- QIM's Cafe, Petrajaya, Sarawak

An individual who tested positive for Covid-19 visited this cafe on Jan 14 from 9pm to 10pm, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- Various locations in the Sibu district

Individuals who tested positive for Covid-19 visited these locations days before testing positive, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said. The locations are:

Individuals who tested positive for Covid-19 visited these locations days before testing positive, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said. They are:

  • Ma Baker, Permyjaya (Jan 19, 7-7.15pm)

  • Ah Lo Traditional Noodle Shop (Jan 22, 6.30-7am)

- Al Rajhi Bank, Kuantan branch, Pahang

An employee of Al Rajhi Bank at this branch has been tested positive for Covid-19, according to a notice sighted by Malaysiakini.

The notice was sent out by the company today.

It is learned that the branch is temporarily closed until further notice.


RESIDENCES

- Residensi Sentulmas, Bandar Baru Sentul, Kuala Lumpur

A resident on Level 23 tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday, the management said in a notice to residents.

The management said it will sanitise common areas more frequently.

- The Wharf Residence, Puchong, Selangor

Covid-19 cases among residents were reported on Jan 19 (Level 29, Tower 28) Jan 21 (Level 9, Tower 28), and Jan 25 (Level 18, Tower 32).

This is according to separate notices to residents by the management, sighted by Malaysiakini.

All common facilities are closed, the management said.

- RH Clearance Longhouse, Miri, Sarawak

Residences within this longhouse tested positive on Jan 18 and 19, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- Puri Aiyu Condominium, Shah Alam, Selangor

A resident tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday, the management said in a notice to residents, sighted by Malaysiakini.

The infected person had contact with other infected individuals in Blocks A and B, the management said.

As such, common areas in both blocks will be disinfected, while common facilities are closed, it said.

- Soho Suites KLCC, Jalan Perak, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Block A3, Level 22 tested positive for Covid-19, the management told residents in a notice dated today.

Common areas have been disinfected, it said in the notice sighted by Malaysiakini.

- Jasmin Apartment, Taman Setapak Jaya, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Level 6 and Level 7 of Block B tested positive for Covid-19, the management said in two notices to residents dated Jan 23 and Jan 25 respectively.

The patient on Level 6 is in home quarantine while the patient on Level 7 has been fetched to hospital, it said.

The management urges residents of the same block to stay home for 14 days.

- Pangsapuri Suri Puteri, Shah Alam, Selangor

A resident of Level 13, Block A tested positive for Covid-19, the fifth at this apartment complex, the management said in a notice to residents today.

The patient is at home waiting to be fetched to a designated quarantine centre, while others in the same unit will quarantine at home for 14 days, it said.

Common areas will be disinfected, it said.

- Casa Idaman, Kampung Batu Muda, Kuala Lumpur

Another two cases were reported here, involving residents of Level 16, Block A, the management said in a notice to residents today.

The management said the Health Ministry has advised all affected residents to self-quarantine until called for a second test.

The management will disinfect common areas. 

- Long Jeeh Village, Ulu Baram, Sarawak

Two villagers at Long Jeeh have been tested positive for Covid-19, according to Sarawak Transport Minister Lee Kim Shin.

The Borneo Post quoted Lee as saying that the Miri Divisional Disaster Management Committee has arranged for a helicopter to fly in Health Ministry personnel to the village to conduct swab tests on other villagers following the incident.

The village has been placed under lockdown for 14 days starting today, said Lee.

- Taman Senai Baru, Kulai, Johor

The Health Ministry said today that they have found a new Covid-19 cluster involving individuals living at Jalan Padi Mahsuri.

According to its statement, MOH said the index case for the cluster called Jalan Padi Mahsuri Cluster was detected during a pre-employment screening on Jan 23.

As of today, they have found 25 positive cases linked to the cluster.

- Kampung Keladi and Taman Saga in Kulim, Kedah

A new Covid-19 infection cluster has been found in Kedah, with cases linked to these two residential areas in Kulim district.

According to the Health Ministry, the cluster named Keladi Saga Cluster so far recorded 34 positive cases since its index case was found positive on Jan 21.

- Kampung Bukit Putera, Setiu, Terengganu

At least one positive case was recorded at this village located in Bandar Permaisuri, Setiu.

According to the Health Ministry, the individual tested positive on Jan 13 and had since been identified as the index case of a new infection cluster named Kampung Bukit Putera Cluster.

As of today, a total of 293 individuals linked to the cluster have been screened, of which 25 tested positive.


MARKETS

- Bintulu Night Market, Sarawak

A Covid-19 patient visited here on Jan 22 from 6pm to 6.30pm.


FACTORIES AND INDUSTRIAL AREAS

- Poh Huat Furniture Sdn Bhd, Bukit Pasir, Muar, Johor

A total of 543 of 1,400 employees screened here tested positive for Covid-19, the firm's parent company Poh Huat Resources Holdings Bhd told Bursa Malaysia today.

As such, operations are suspended until Feb 3 pending the Health Ministry's advice.

The company said it does not estimate a material impact on its financial performance, other than the cost of swab tests, disinfection and daily meal allowances for foreign workers in quarantine.


EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

- Cherie Hearts Setia Tropicana preschool, Johor Bahru, Johor

A teacher who works at this branch has been tested positive for Covid-19, according to a notice issued by Cherie Hearts management on Jan 22.

According to the notice, which was sighted by Malaysiakini, the teacher had not come to work since Jan 16.

The centre has been closed temporarily since Jan 23, and scheduled to resume operations tomorrow (Jan 27).

- Negeri Sembilan Matriculation College, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan

The Health Ministry today announced that a new infection cluster involving a public education institute located between Taman Bukit Intan and Taman Bahagia Delima in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan.

Checks on online maps and with sources revealed that the said institute is this matriculation college.

As of today, 25 out of 253 individuals linked to this cluster have been found positive for Covid-19.

The index case was found positive on Jan 16 and had travelled from Johor.


GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS

- Road Transport Department, Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur

Several RTD officers attached to this office, which is the headquarters for Kuala Lumpur RTD, have been tested positive for Covid-19.

The office was initially closed from Jan 21 until Jan 25 after a case was detected. However, it had since been extended to Jan 29 after more cases surfaced.


DETENTION FACILITIES

- Dungun Correctional Centre, Dungun, Terengganu

The detention centre is seeing an outbreak among its inmates, with 99 individuals tested positive so far.

According to the Health Ministry, the index case was first detected on Jan 4 during a screening exercise on inmates there.

Following this, they have screened a total of 1,131 individuals linked to the cluster.
